Although dabbling in photography much of his life, Nathan started taking it more seriously about seven years ago, after picking up an old Minolta film camera from a thrift store. Years of self-teaching has lead him to try out many different genres, including portraiture, landscape, bird, street, and architecture. He can often be seen trudging through marshes or taking long hikes through urban environments capturing elements of nature or mankind’s conquest of it. He is just now striking out into the world of the photographic professional, and desires to focus primarily on teaching, whether in person or through YouTube.
“Nathan is one of the most gifted teachers I have encountered during my long path as an artist and teacher myself. He has a unique ability to perceive and articulate exactly what students need to hear. Extremely knowledgeable, thorough, personable and inspiring, Nathan creates a learning experience that is very rewarding.” Mary Parkerson YouTube channel: Forgotten Cameras IG: anothernatedogg |
