Jennifer Actkinson Lockette 

 Jennifer Actkinson Lockette is a San Francisco Bay Area Acrylic Artist. 

​Jennifer A. Lockette was born in West Point, Mississippi, a very small-town population of less than 2,000. The small town of flatland crops and vegetation, cotton canvassed with trees and ponds.
Jennifer graduated from Woodland High School. Post-graduation she worked at several local industrial factories before attending cosmetology school. She became a licensed cosmetology in 1990 and worked as a hairstylist. Always looking for beauty in the outside world would open her eyes to what once was hobby to a dream of art! Always doodling/ drawing and having a pay several book fines in the process.
Jennifer a single mother of three daughters decided to move to California in 1997 and after taking college courses she worked for the United States Postal Service for over two decades. Jennifer married Reginald Lockette in 2010. As an artist, Jennifer has been featured in several shows in the past years, received seven People's Choice Awards.
Jennifer continues to take part in several shows such as Living Black, Jamieson Ranch Extravaganza, Benicia Arts, Fairfield-Suisun City Visual Art Association, American Canyon Arts. Jennifer was a part of Once Upon a Canvas Gallery in Benicia.
