Homework: Pick five-to-ten leaves and flowers of different colors. If you have Photoshop, bring your laptop to class with the charger.
October 10, 2022, the day of the first Graphic Design class, is Indigenous People’s Day. For the first class, we will be learning more about Native Americans, using the nature we collect to create a headdress for Wilma Mankiller and to create a mural of nature on Adobe Photoshop. If you do not have Adobe Photoshop, do not worry. For the first class, I can use my computer software to help you create your final design. If you have the program on your laptop, please bring your laptop to class along with the charger. We will be using poetry from Joy Harjo to create a unique canvas of art to remember Indigenous People’s Day. You will leave class knowing more about:
· Native American History
· Poetry from Joy Harjo
· Wilma Mankiller History
· Scanning at 600dpi
· Photoshop selecting tools
· Photoshop basic tools
· Illustrator tips
