Course Title: Exploring Abstract Expressionism: Basics of Composition and Technique
Course Duration: 2-Day Workshop

Course Overview:
This workshop is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of Abstract Expressionism. Through hands-on practice and theoretical study, students will explore composition and various techniques that define this art movement. The course will include lectures, studio work, critiques, and discussions.
Materials Needed:
- Acrylic paints (various colors)
- Brushes (various sizes)
- Variety of marking type media (optional)
- Canvas or canvas paper (no bigger than 24x24)
- Palette knives
- Palette for mixing paint
- Drawing paper
- Charcoal or graphite pencils
- Rags or paper towels
- Easel (optional)
