Join us once a month to explore a new art medium! Learn the tools and techniques of the medium to make your drawings come alive. There’s time to complete one fantastic drawing!
Upon signing, up you will be supplied a small and affordable material list. These supplies are not just for class, but to be used for the many years of art play to come.

Masterpiece Colored Pencil Drawing Sep 13, 2019 6:00-8:00 pm
Learn how to make beautiful drawings using the comfort of a pencil and not a brush! Students will discover a variety of new drawing techniques such as stippling, burnishing, shading, directional marks, optical blending, pressure, cross hatching, and color blending.
Masterpiece Charcoal Drawing Oct 21, 2019 6:00-8:00 pm
Students will learn blending techniques and how to create beautiful drawings using a variety of papers, charcoal (including vine, white charcoal, conte, compressed and pencil) and a kneaded eraser.
Masterpiece Watercolor Pencil Drawing Nov 18, 2019 6:00-8:00 pm
Take your next step with colored pencils as we learn how to use Watercolor (water soluble) Colored Pencils! Students will learn a variety of new drawing techniques and brush strokes. Using a brush and water to create a colorful wash, students build up layers of color to create a "watercolor" effect or a bolder, more detailed drawing.

Learn to paint with an oil stick and not a brush! Students will discover a variety of new drawing techniques such as stippling, scumbling, layering and color blending, along with some color theory.
Masterpiece Pen, Ink and Brush Drawing Feb 17, 2020 6:00-8:00 pm
Practice classic drawing skills using Pen, Ink and Brush! Students will learn how to create beautiful drawings using a variety of techniques such as dry brush, ink wash, stippling, splatter, cross hatching, contour and linear lines, and scumbling. Students will develop a better understanding of different pen quills and brushes used with pen & ink drawing.
Masterpiece Quick Sketching
the Human Form and Portraits Mar 16, 2020 6:00-8:00 pm
Learn the many techniques to successfully draw the face and body, including proportions and quick sketching techniques. Using charcoal, students are challenged with a variety of quick and extended art projects.

Explore drawing with century’s old Colored Conte Crayon! Students will learn a variety of new drawing techniques such as color blending, shading, cross hatching, pencil pressure, color theory, directional lines and gradating tones.

Create beautiful, colorful drawings using Chalk Pastels! Students will discover a variety of new drawing techniques such as stippling, hatching, layering and color blending, along with some color theory.
Creating a Mandala Through Art and Reflection Jun 15, 2020 6:00-8:00 pm
This is a workshop not just for art but also self discovery. Students are challenged with projects that provide insight and clarity regarding their life issues and goals, before creating a beautiful and colorful personal mandala to reflect what they have learned about themselves. This is a safe place for expression, and if you choose, there is time set aside for sharing. For 25 years, instructor Laura Schofield has been a leader in the meditation, healing, art and herbal community.
Masterpiece Beginning Drawing (2-part series) Jul 13 & Aug 17, 2020 6:00-8:00 pm
Did you ever want to learn to draw, improve the art work you are already doing or just have a place to practice? Then a Beginning Drawing class is just for you! During this coursework we cover the 8 elements of art and learn about shading, toning, perspective, composition, layout, proportion, sketching, line work, realistic and abstract, draw what you see, 2D vs 3D artwork and other drawing techniques.--
